- Payment or financial data
- Special categories of personal data (health, biometric, political opinions, etc.)
- Data from social media profiles or tracking pixels
- Data from third-party advertising or marketing platforms
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes, each with a specific legal basis under Article 6(1) GDPR:
| Purpose | Data Involved | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to your contact form inquiry | Name, email, company, service interest, message | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request |
| Follow-up business communication related to your inquiry | Name, email, company | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and maintaining professional relationships |
| Ensuring website security and stability | Server log data | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website |
| Understanding aggregate website usage patterns | Anonymous, non-personal analytics data (see Section 5) | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in improving our website |
We do not process personal data based on consent for any purpose on this website, as we do not use cookies, tracking technologies, or marketing tools that would require consent.
4. Data Recipients and Third-Party Processors
Your personal data may be shared with the following categories of recipients, strictly to the extent necessary:
4.1 Hosting Provider
Our website is hosted on a cPanel-based web hosting service. The hosting provider processes server log data and facilitates the delivery of contact form submissions. The hosting provider acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually obligated to protect your data in accordance with the GDPR.
4.2 Email Delivery
Contact form submissions are processed via the server's built-in mail function and delivered directly to our company email address (office@temeron.com). No third-party form processors, CRM systems, or external email marketing services are involved in this process.
4.3 Analytics Provider
We use Umami Cloud for website analytics. Umami is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not collect, store, or process any personal data. See Section 5 for details.
4.4 No Other Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties. We do not use social media plugins, advertising networks, or third-party tracking services.
5. Website Analytics
We use Umami Cloud for website analytics. Umami is a privacy-focused analytics solution that differs fundamentally from conventional analytics tools:
- Cookieless: Umami does not set any cookies on your device.
- No personal data: Umami does not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, or any information that could identify you as an individual.
- No cross-site tracking: Umami does not track you across websites or sessions.
- EU-hosted: Umami Cloud infrastructure is hosted within the European Union.
- Aggregate data only: Umami collects only anonymous, aggregate metrics such as page view counts, referrer domains, browser types, and country-level geographic data — none of which constitutes personal data under the GDPR.
Because Umami does not process personal data, no consent is required for its use, and it is fully compliant with the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and the Schrems II ruling.
6. Cookies
Our website does not use cookies of any kind. Specifically:
- No analytics cookies — our analytics solution (Umami) is fully cookieless.
- No advertising or marketing cookies — we do not run any advertising or remarketing campaigns.
- No social media cookies — we do not embed social media plugins or tracking pixels.
- No session cookies — our website is static HTML and does not require server-side sessions.
- No third-party cookies — no external services on our site set cookies in your browser.
Because no cookies are used, no cookie consent banner is required or displayed. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:
- Contact form submissions: Emails containing contact form data are retained in our email system for up to 24 months from the date of submission, unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
- Server log files: Automatically deleted after 90 days by the hosting provider, unless retention is required for the investigation of security incidents.
- Business correspondence: If your initial inquiry leads to an ongoing business relationship, related communications may be retained for the duration of the relationship and up to 36 months thereafter, in accordance with applicable commercial and tax record-keeping obligations under Romanian law.
After the applicable retention period, personal data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
8. International Data Transfers
We make every effort to keep your data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Our hosting infrastructure is located within the EU/EEA, and Umami Cloud operates on EU-based servers. We do not knowingly transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA.
In the event that a data transfer outside the EEA becomes necessary, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our website
- Secure server infrastructure with regular security updates and monitoring
- Access controls limiting personal data access to authorised personnel only
- Regular review and assessment of our data processing practices
While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly addressing any data breach in accordance with GDPR requirements, including notification to the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where required.
10. Your Rights Under the GDPR
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR. You may exercise any of these rights free of charge by contacting us at office@temeron.com:
